We think most of our guests will be flying from one of Dublin, Manchester, London or Dubai/Abu Dhabi/Doha (connecting from Australia). Full details of the flights into the area aren’t available this far ahead, but we will update as and when they come out.

The closest airport will be Genoa, but it looks like there are fewer flights there. The Milan airports are about a 2hr drive away, and it would be a similar time from Pisa or Turin.

TRAIN / DRIVING
Getting to Santa Margherita Ligure from any of the places above is quite easy by train or if you want to rent a car.
GENOA
From Genova Brignole station there are several trains an hour to Santa Margherita Ligure, taking about half an hour.
If you’re driving from Genoa it would be about 45 mins (and it’s a nice drive).
MILAN
If you’re flying into Malpensa it’s about 2.5 hrs drive. Linate is a bit closer (about 2 hrs drive).
To get a train you’d first have to get into Milano Centrale (45 mins on a coach from Malpensa, 30 – 45 mins from Linate) then about 2 – 2.5 hrs depending on which train you get.
TURIN
From Turin it’s around 2.5 hrs drive. Trains take about 2.5 – 3.5 hours from Porta Nuova in Turin to Santa Margherita Ligure.
PISA
From Pisa Airport it’s about 1.5 hrs to drive. Trains go from the airport to Santa Margherita Ligure and take about 2 – 2.5 hrs.
