The best place to stay would be in Santa Margherita Ligure town. There are plenty of Airbnb’s and hotels, and they will all be in walking distance from Villa Durazzo (and the beach, restaurants, etc.).
We think the town is stunning, and that everyone will have a lovely time there.
Other Locations
There a few other towns close by with a similar vibe. Getting to Santa Margherita in the day time would be easy by train or bus, and if you need to get back later we can organise transportation at the end of the evening.
Camogli is 5 mins away from Santa Margherita (one stop on the train, ~4 Euro), or about 20 mins drive. It has nice sunsets.
Rapallo is also about 5 mins away by train, or around 15 mins drive. We haven’t been here yet but it looks quite nice too.
If you feel like splashing out, Portofino is ~15 mins away by car…
